The Davis Dash is this Wednesday! We will be having all of our incentives that we have aearned from the dash on this day as well - extra recess, pj day, movie and popcorn, and games.
Report Cards will be going home Friday. Highlights for class this week: Reading/ELA: We will begin a new novel study this week using the book One Well. We will discuss the importance of water through this book. This will be a great tie-in for our pollution unit in science. This week we will be having a spelling week - test will be Friday. We will work a little bit more on compare and contrast this week. We will practice typing our responses on the computer in preparation for the GA Milestones. Writing: We will begin working on paragraphs of the week for the next two weeks. These will be little stories to help us reinforce all the different skills we have learned throughout the year. After spring break we will tackle another long story. Math: We will be focusing on time this week. We will need to tell time to the nearest minute and learn how to figure out elapsed time. Science: We will begin talking about recycling and pollution. Remember, we have a field trip to the Wright Environmental Center next Tuesday.
